Un orchestre de jazz dirigé par Jean-Pierre Le Guen, guitariste et compositeur.
Le Zéphyr Quartet, formation réunie autour du guitariste et compositeur Jean-Pierre Le Guen pour un voyage « au gré du vent » dans l’esprit du groupe Oregon (Ralph Towner, Colin Walcott, Glen Moore et Paul Mc Candlless, groupe ayant enregistré chez ECM), ce qui pour certains n’est pas un mince compliment. A leur actif, cinq disques avec des compositions personnelles, enregistrés avec des musiciens talentueux comme Jonathan Handelsman, Didier Forget, Peter Volpe ou Bobby Rangell.
Au programme, musique aérienne, ballade et flânerie au bord de la vague d’une mer calme. Des compositions qui portent à la rêverie et d’autres chargées de fortes émotions qui galvanisent l’atmosphère !
