L’histoire d’amour la plus célèbre de William Shakespeare, sublimée par les danseurs et la musique de Prokofiev.
La confrontation de deux familles et l’amour aveuglant sont devenus l’histoire la plus triste du monde en même temps qu’un véritable hymne à l’amour. L’histoire de deux jeunes gens, Roméo Montaigu et Juliette Capulet, qui s’aiment malgré la haine que se vouent leurs familles. La chorégraphie livre tout le faste et la violence où truculence et beauté se mêlent, restituant la passion du drame de Shakespeare.
C’est un spectacle pour tous tant le thème est universel, une symphonie de la danse, touchante et merveilleuse, c’est un chef-d’œuvre du ballet classique.
